10.15.2003 Bush Seeks to Disallow marriage Between Infertile Couples This week, the week of October 12, 2003, is Marriage Protection Week. In its proclamation, Bush says, "Marriage is a union between a man and a woman. [...some more crap...] By supporting responsible child-rearing and strong families, my Administration is seeking to ensure that every child can grow up in a safe and loving home." What's the difference between a man and woman being married and two men or two women being married? Men and women can have children together! Unless they can't; in which case they shouldn't be allowed to be married. And think about this: what if you've got a fertile man married to an infertile woman? Those kinds of couplings are going to need to be eliminated. Barren women who are leading breedable men away from impregnable targets should be jailed. Likewise for impotent men who are preventing viable host women from producing future Americans. Marriage is about increasing the population so that we can at last outnumber the Chinese. Near the end of the proclamation, there's the following nugget: "And we must continue our work to create a compassionate, welcoming society, where all people are treated with dignity and respect."
